The enchantment of a land, the love for its people

There are places you don’t just pass through; they pass through you.

Lands that speak to you through the colors of their sunsets, the scents of vineyards kissed by the wind, and the voices of the people who call them home. For me, this land has become my heart, and 'Ncantu is my way of saying thank you.

'Ncantu,' meaning enchantment in Sicilian, is more than a wine. It is a dedication, a heartfelt tribute to the land of Etna a living land , powerful place that captivates with its rugged beauty and profound generosity. Within every bottle lies the essence of this extraordinary territory: the strength of the volcano, the richness of its vines, and the intensity of the emotions it stirs in all who encounter it.

The label tells a story of reverence and wonder, not only for the fruits of this land but for the people who make it so unique. The tireless hands that work its soil with devotion, the proud and honest gazes that reflect ancient traditions, and the warmth of its hospitality that made me fall in love with this corner of the world.

'Ncantu is my tribute to them: a wine that embodies the soul of this land and the pride of its people. It’s an invitation to pause, to be enchanted, and to share a moment of beauty.  Bringing people and stories together, one glass at a time.

Lemon

Born in 1990, Sophia Lemonnier, also known as Lemon, is an artist and designer who graduated from Strate School of Design in 2014 with honors from the jury.

Lemon’s creative process lies somewhere between street art and naive surrealism. It involves giving free rein to her imagination without ever restraining it. From one scene to another, the story unfolds. Her drawings always stem from a felt emotion that she distorts and reinvents to unleash her pencil. It is a delicate balance between her conscious and unconscious mind.

Primarily focused on line work, Lemon’s art does not seek perfection but rather spontaneity. The state she is in determines the density and precision of her drawings. By distorting reality and the mundane, she aims to make them more critical, evocative, and incisive.

The artist captures the details of everyday life and also draws inspiration from graffiti, comics, and sketches. Her illustrations weave a continuous narrative.

Lemon also excels in creating live murals during events where her art can directly engage with the public.
